RNC Chairman Reince Priebus is taking the war on Trump to the next level now that the cunning and obviously orchestrated smear campaign over old codger John McCain’s “war hero” status has failed. As Trump continues to rise in the polls and as the bandwagon takes on more passengers, the Republican party establishment is desperate to protect their stable of finely groomed racehorses from an outsider with his own money who refuses to stick to the talking points. The news is now out that Mr. Priebus is expecting a loyalty pledge from Republican candidates that they will not mount a third party run, so much for a free country.

The Hill is reporting that “RNC Chief: GOP Candidates Should Pledge Not to Seek Third Party”:

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus on Monday said GOP presidential candidates shouldn’t seek a third-party challenge for the White House, less than a week after Donald Trump floated the idea in an exclusive interview with The Hill.

“Our candidates should pledge not to run as a third-party candidate,” Priebus said on NBC’s “Today,” adding that he doesn’t expect any 2016 GOP candidate to run a third-party campaign if they don’t win the Republican nomination.

“I think everyone understands that if Hillary Clinton is going to get beat, she is going to get beat by a Republican and most people that run for president run to win. If our candidates want to win, then they will have to run as a Republican.”

The chairman’s comments come days after Trump told The Hill that he would “absolutely” consider a third-party bid for president if the RNC treats him unfairly through the debate process.

“The RNC has not been supportive. They were always supportive when I was a contributor. I was their fair-haired boy,” Trump said last Wednesday. “The RNC has been, I think, very foolish.”

On Sunday, Trump said RNC officials became “really nice” after The Hill interview.

“They’ve been really nice over the last few days, they’re starting to see what’s happening,” Trump said on CNN’s “State of the Union with Jake Tapper.”

Priebus has always been a slimy little prick and this Stalinist style move to stack the deck is no surprise, it is just eating away at the establishment that someone who isn’t a part of the cozy club is able to get the support of so many Americans. He is also wrong about beating Hillary Clinton who is losing credibility by the day and could soon be facing a criminal probe into her misuse of official email while Secretary of State. At this point it is looking at least somewhat possible that Mrs. Clinton may not even make it to her coronation ceremony at the convention next summer.

What Priebus and the rest of the ensconced bloodsuckers fear most of all is that they will no longer have a monopoly on deciding who it is that emerges from the Republican primary process. It’s not so much about caring whether the party keeps trotting out chumps and losers like Romney and McCain who are doomed to fail but all about keeping the money rolling in. For years real conservatives have gotten the shaft from the establishment and people are beginning to wise up – especially after being stabbed in the back so soon after that big November wave election victory and the betrayal by “leaders” and Obama appeasers Boehner and McConnell.

Remember, Stalin’s quote “The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything” because it looks like Reince Priebus has snagged his political playbook.
