John Ellis Bush or as he is more commonly known “Jeb!” is sick and damned tired of being forced to look up at the uncultured vulgar billionaire Donald Trump in the polls and he is now playing the fear card. The art of scaring the living crap out of Americans was perfected by Mr. Bush’s older brother and his regime with their color-coded terror alert charts and crass exploitation of 9/11 for political purposes. Now, after Trump dared to blaspheme the legendary and iconic image of George W. Bush standing on the World Trade Center rubble with that bullhorn by simply stating the truth that the deadliest terror attacks in American history occurred on Dubya’s watch, the gloves are off for golden boy Jeb!. The Bush III people are running attack ads about Trump’s “dangerous” foreign policy and the golden boy himself went on the Sunday morning McNews circuit to warn that a vote for Trump is a vote for the destruction of humanity itself.
Bush appeared with the insipid, self-promoting asshole Jake Tapper on CNN’s State of the Union where he upped the rhetoric. As reported by CNN in the story “Bush has ‘grave doubts’ about Trump as commander in chief”:
Jeb Bush said Donald Trump discusses foreign policy like a reality show star and that support for the Republican front-runner will eventually wane.
Bush also said he has little confidence in Trump’s ability to appropriately handle America’s nuclear weapons.
“I have grave doubts, to be honest with you,” Bush told CNN’s Jake Tapper in an interview airing Sunday on “State of the Union.”
“He’s not taking the responsibility, the possibility of being president of the United States really seriously. For him, it looks as though he’s an actor playing a role of the candidate for president. Not boning up on the issues, not having a broad sense of the responsibilities of what it is to be a president,” Bush said. “Across the spectrum of foreign policy, Mr. Trump talks about things as though he’s still on ‘The Apprentice.'”
Bush said Trump’s proposed plan of hoping ISIS removes Syrian President Bashar Assad from power and then Russia taking on ISIS is like “some kind of board game and not a serious approach.”
“This is just another example of the lack of seriousness. And this is a serious time. We’re under grave threats again, and I think we need a president with a steady hand,” Bush said.
Bush again dismissed Trump’s suggestion that George W. Bush was responsible for 9/11 because it occurred during his presidency.
“My brother responded to a crisis, and he did it as you would hope a president would do. He united the country, he organized our country and he kept us safe. And there’s no denying that. The great majority of Americans believe that,” he said.
“And I don’t know why he keeps bringing this up. It doesn’t show that he’s a serious person as it relates to being commander in chief and being the architect of a foreign policy,” Bush added.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black, considering that Jeb! has neocon fanatic Paul Wolfowitz as one of his top foreign policy advisers. In a sane society that should disqualify him from becoming the third Bush family member to serve as POTUS given the Middle East debacle that rose out of PNAC‘s wet dreams of global hegemony. Regarding Trump’s throwing down the gauntlet over 9/11, it would seem that his comments are once again being distorted by a mercenary media that has to this point failed to even put a dent in Trump’s armor.
Harry Truman had a saying: “the buck stops here” and really, the George W. Bush presidency didn’t just suddenly begin on September 12, 2001. To this day nobody has been fired nor otherwise held accountable for the catastrophic failure of intelligence that led to over 3,000 dead in lower Manhattan and more at the Pentagon and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Bush’s 9/11 “leadership” was a fucking disgrace, from having to be pried away from reading “My Pet Goat” during the attacks to flying around the country like a pussy all day long, his performance fell far short of what one would expect from the head of this country when we were under attack.
But what else can the latest entitled Bush do? Trump is kicking the hell out of him and it’s getting to be increasingly obvious that Americans – at least many conservatives – have stopped buying brand Bush. The establishment is fully armed and set on kill over Trump’s 9/11 heresy. However, given how they have been repeatedly burned by the Donald over such sacred cows as the flag-draped old coot John McCain’s war hero mythology they should think things out before wading into the briar patch again because this could really backfire on the Bush crime family.
Is it just me or is the smell of desperation in the air?
