Now that the RNC/GOPe establishment has gotten it’s wish with retired celebrity neurosurgeon Ben Carson having overtaken Trumpzilla in a few select polls, it was inevitable that the media would swarm like jackals over a piece of fresh meat. Dr. Carson has not had a good week as inconsistencies in his life story are now being scrutinized by both the mercenary media as well as opposition researchers. Whether it’s his Popeye’s fried chicken robbery yarn, that he once attempted to stab a boyhood friend, attacked his own mother with a hammer or embellishing a “scholarship” offer from West Point, the good doctor now finds himself in the rare position of having to play defense. It’s not going to get any easier going forward either as a new article in the Wall Street Journal examines further discrepancies in Carson’s biography.

Carson is of course playing the victim card by going after the corrupt media – the mask of his normally unflappable demeanor slipped a bit during a hostile exchange at a press conference on Friday – but it’s all a part of the game of running for the nomination. He has yet to face one ten-thousandth of the media driven character assassinations and public scourgings that have been unleashed on the hated enemy of status quo Trump, however unlike the Donald he comes across as losing his shit when he is punching back. But there is one glaring thing that Carson isn’t being asked about which could blow a smoking hole in his entire sales pitch that he is an “outsider”. He (like nearly every other establishment candidate) is fully onboard with the job-murdering, sovereignty-shredding, globalist deal with the devil that is Obamatrade.

According to the Wall Street Journal “Ben Carson Backs White House’s TPP Trade Deal”:

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson said Friday that he supports the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement negotiated by the White House – aligning himself more with the GOP’s establishment wing than with the social conservatives who have powered his campaign.

Mr. Carson’s backing of the 12-nation Pacific trade deal places him at odds with Donald Trump, his chief rival for support among anti-establishment Republicans. Mr. Carson had expressed skepticism about the TPP, saying in a June interview with the Huffington Post that he would not give President Barack Obama “fast-track” authority to negotiate the deal.

Now, a day after the White House posted the text of the TPP deal online, Mr. Carson’s campaign said Friday that he supports the final product.

Mr. Carson, spokesman Doug Watts said, “believes the agreement does help to level the playing field in key markets and is important to improve our ties to trading partners in Asia as a counterbalance to China’s influence in the region.” Mr. Watts said Mr. Carson is “now inclined to support TPP, with reservations.”

Mr. Carson’s new support for the trade deal comes as the Republican Party’s decades-long support for free trade is splintering. Mr. Trump is leading a wing of anti-trade candidates that includes social conservatives Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, who had backed the “fast-track” legislation aimed at expediting TPP approval, backed away from the bill because he said Republicans couldn’t trust Mr. Obama and said approving the deal would open American companies to increased foreign competition and boost illegal immigration.

It is more than a little bit contradictory that a man who has warned of a new world order would be in lockstep with the rest of the corrupt gaggle of politicians on what is exactly that. The good folks over at the blog the Conservative Treehouse dare to ask whether Carson may be  “Wall Street’s Manchurian Candidate?”, if so he sure isn’t the only one.

Every true conservative and every patriotic American should be vehemently opposed to Barack Obama’s greatest selling out of America yet – why isn’t Dr. Carson?
