The only thing worse than an establishment lickspittle caught up in the throes of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is one who is already deranged to begin with. Former Fox News host and increasingly unhinged religious radio personality Glenn Beck has joined the rush of those trampling all over Godwin’s Law to invoke visions of jack-booted Nazis dancing like sugar plum fairies in the streets of Washington if Donald Trump wins the GOP nomination. Beck has gone beyond just comparing Trump supporters to Brownshirts and is now in a state of hysteria that Trump is the second coming of Der Führer himself.

Joining the anti-Trump forces dispersed across the Sunday morning McNews show circuit today, Herr Beck chummed it up with Clinton crime family hack George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s This Week where he played the dreaded Hitler card which at this point needs to be retired forever.

Time Magazine reports that “Glenn Beck Compares Donald Trump to Hitler”:

“Donald Trump is a dangerous man with the things that he has been saying”

Conservative pundit Glenn Beck compared Donald Trump to Hitler on Sunday, blasting the Republican front runner for appealing to Americans’ anger for votes.

The right-wing media personality called Trump a “dangerous man” during his appearance Sunday on ABC’s This Week with host George Stephanopoulos. “We all look at Adolf Hitler in 1940. We should look at Adolf Hitler in 1929,” Beck said. “He was a kind of a funny kind of character that said the things people were thinking. Where Donald Trump takes it, I have absolutely no idea. But Donald Trump is a dangerous man with the things that he has been saying.”

Comedian Louis C.K. made the same comparison on Saturday, calling Trump an “insane bigot” while urging voters to stop supporting him. “It was funny for a little while. But the guy is Hitler,” he said. “And by that I mean that we are being Germany in the ’30s. Do you think they saw the s–t coming? Hitler was just some hilarious and refreshing dude with a weird comb over who would say anything at all.”

That fasting for Ted Cruz thing didn’t work out so well for Beck so like all of the rest of his originality challenged cohorts in the establishment media he is now left to rely on playing the Hitler card. Sad that this guy was not that long ago considered one of the driving intellectual forces in the post-Obama conservative movement.  Beck is slick though because he also uses the appearance to warn against the coming brokered convention – one that would result in his guy also facing the Night of the Long Knives from the Republican establishment reich.
