Queen Hillary knows that she can easily crush meddlesome crank Bernie Sanders like a bug whenever it tickles her fancy and then sneer down at his supporters if they dare protest feeding upon the crumbs that fall from her royal table. Such is the state of the corrupt Democrats with the “champion” of the little people grown fat and sassy off the largesse of the big Wall Street banks. The Dems have long enjoyed the ability to toy with the working class because “what are they gonna do, vote Republican?” but as a young Bob Dylan once sang “the times they are a changing”. The rise of Donald Trump and his ability to speak to issues of economic distress is threatening to seriously deplete the support that pigs like the Clintons have long taken for granted – just as Ronald Reagan once did with the Reagan Democrats.
The Hill reports on the blue jackass party’s gnawing sense of anxiety in the story“Democrats fret about Trump’s appeal”:
Democrats on Capitol Hill are starting to get worried about Donald Trump.
Once convinced that a Trump nomination would be a godsend for their party, some are now warning that a general election fight against the billionaire tycoon will be anything but a cakewalk.
Trump’s unorthodox message and populist appeal, the Democrats warn, could erode their hold on working-class support and jeopardize their chances in a year when voter disenchantment with Washington is being felt nationwide.
“I’ve been saying for months that we should never take Trump lightly and that I do think he has appeal, to independents and blue-collar Democrats especially,” said Rep. John Larson (D-Conn.), former head of the House Democratic Caucus. “He is stoking the fears. … He comes along and says, ‘I’m a deal maker, I’m about getting the deal done.’ And they’re so fed up of seeing nothing getting done and want to see him [act] on the issues that strike to the core of their feelings.”
The Democrats have good reason to worry in the rust belt and other states that have been decimated by globalists pushing ruinous trade deals and the offshoring of millions of jobs to low cost third world shitholes. This is especially so with Mrs. Goldman Sachs being their nominee and with an outgoing Barack Obama hellbent at getting the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) passed before retiring to a life of golf and six figure speaking engagements. However there is the glimmer of hope that Trump doesn’t make it to the big dance. The Republican establishment has pumped tens of millions of dollars into a sustained anti-Trump smear campaign and it appears to be having the desired affect. Trump’s leads have been eaten into as a result and especially so after he blundered into that Fox News debate ambush last Thursday.
Tonight’s Michigan primary could be a leading indicator on whether the unprecedented negative onslaught has worked. New polls show tightening margins with Ohio Governor John Kasich nipping at the Donald’s heels. Hillary will make mincemeat out of Kasich or Rubio or Romney and the Democrats would owe a huge debt of gratitude to a party that nuked it’s best shot at the White House just because he couldn’t be easily controlled by the purchasers of political influence.
