Mitt Romney just loves Marco Rubio John Kasich Ted Cruz as the human kiss of political death has thrown his backing behind the establishment’s latest hope to beat back Donald Trump. The narcissistic choker Romney – who lost what was a very winnable 2012 election to Emperor Barack Obama – has wedged himself into the daily media scrum with his proclamation that he would be casting his vote for Cruz in the upcoming Utah caucuses. With the entire establishment freaking out over the Trump led peasant revolt, Romney has presented himself as just the man to banish that terrible man once and for all. Mitt is on a mission to deny the Donald the 1,237 delegates that are needed to clinch the GOP nomination and then throw it all into a brokered convention where he himself could end up being crowned as the “winner” of the chance to go out and lose another election for the Republicans.
The Romney family is pretty good when it comes to lowball tactics to deny the will of the voters – it was his father George Romney who played a key role in the establishment of the time’s screwing of Barry Goldwater in 1964. An election that had enormous consequences in allowing Democrat Lyndon Baines Johnson to erect his “Great Society” and double down on the Vietnam war. Romney the younger also seems to be possessed of delusions of grandeur that could be attributed to the Mormon “White Horse Prophecy”.
Politico reports that “Mitt Romney says he’s voting for Ted Cruz”:
Mitt Romney, the 2012 Republican nominee, will be caucusing for Ted Cruz in Utah next week.
The former Massachusetts governor said he believes no one will win the nomination outright by accruing the necessary 1,237 delegates, which would lead to multiple ballots at a contested convention.
“At this stage, the only way we can reach an open convention is for Senator Cruz to be successful in as many of the remaining nominating elections as possible,” Romney said in a Facebook post.
The primary has whittled from a 17-person field to just front-runner Donald Trump, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Cruz. But the way Romney put it, the GOP primary is a battle between “Trumpism” and Republicanism.
Trumpism, according to Romney, is about racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophobia, vulgarity, threats and violence. “I am repulsed by each and every one of these,” he said.
Romney, who campaigned with Kasich earlier this week, delivered a scathing anti-Donald Trump speech this month in which he said, if it were possible, he would vote for Marco Rubio in Florida — the Florida senator later suspended his campaign after losing the state by double digits Tuesday to Trump — and Kasich in Ohio.
“I like Governor John Kasich. I have campaigned with him,” Romney said in Friday’s post. “He has a solid record as governor. I would have voted for him in Ohio. But a vote for Governor Kasich in future contests makes it extremely likely that Trumpism would prevail.”
Mitt the twit has even managed to invent a term for the great evil that is soon to devour the republic: “Trumpism” which is a very original variation on fascism, Nazism, communism and other cults (Mormonism?) and the media will no doubt seize upon it soon. What Romney doesn’t say – but implies – is that he is going to stick the dagger in Ted’s back as well once the Texas Senator has served his purpose. All that matters now however is to pad the numbers against Trump in order to make fucking him over when he ends up a tad short of the magic number more palatable to the masses of asses.
Romney is already looking towards Cleveland and a shot at redemption for blowing the 2012 election.
