Republican party front-runner Donald Trump has reacted forcefully to the establishment super PAC that used a semi-nude picture of his wife Melania in an online attack ad. The group, Make America Awesome was backing Ted Cruz in Utah where former RNC figure Liz Mair who runs the PAC decided that it would be good idea to engage in some lowdown “slut-shaming” to appeal to Mormon women to cast their votes against Trump. In an increasingly dirty campaign that has now gone into the scorched earth phase to prevent the billionaire iconoclast from clinching the necessary delegates before this summer’s convention, the anti-Trump forces have increasingly crossed the line and along with the media have turned the Donald’s family into legitimate targets.
CNN reports on Trump’s reaction to the use of his wife in the attack ad in the story “Donald Trump makes wild threat to ‘spill the beans’ on Ted Cruz’s wife’;
Donald Trump escalated his feud with Ted Cruz on Twitter Tuesday — but this time he also involved the Texas senator’s wife.
The real estate mogul tweeted that the Texas senator should “be careful” or he would “spill the beans on your wife” Heidi Cruz.
“Lyin’ Ted Cruz just used a picture of Melania from a G.Q. shoot in his ad. Be careful, Lyin’ Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!,” he tweeted Tuesday evening, just minutes before polls closed in Arizona. Trump tweeted and deleted a similar version of the Tweet about 10 minutes earlier.
Trump appears to be referring to a Facebook advertisement targeted to Mormons that shows Trump’s wife, Melania, posing nude. That ad was produced by an anti-Trump super PAC, Make America Awesome, which has no known connection to the Cruz campaign.
Cruz responded on Twitter by saying that the ad was not from him and if he went after his wife, then Trump is a “coward.”
“Pic of your wife not from us. Donald, if you try to attack Heidi, you’re more of a coward than I thought. #classless,” Cruz tweeted.
Heidi Cruz is a senior executive for Goldman Sachs, and took a leave from in order to help her husband’s campaign. She has become one of the campaign’s most accomplished fundraisers.
CNN has reached out to the Trump and Cruz campaigns for comment.
But of course it’s a “wild threat” to CNN which conveniently leaves it out that the media’s demonizing of Trump has resulted in both his son and his sister receiving envelopes containing a suspicious white powder in the last week. Cruz is of course playing dumb over the whole thing but his campaign has been marked by an early and often use of dirty tricks including circulating false rumors over then candidate Ben Carson in Iowa to deceive supporters into believing that he had quit the race.
What those “beans” may be is anyone’s guess but Heidi Cruz is employed by politically connected Wall Street megabank Goldman Sachs or as some have referred to it due to the powerful firm’s meddling in Washington “Government Sachs”. The Melania Trump smear marked a new low in the establishment war on Trump but it’s only going to get dirtier now as the campaign careens towards all out trench warfare. The media hysterics are having a ball with Trump’s “vicious threat” this morning and it will be spun in a manner that will make him appear paranoid, delusional and unfit for the presidency – incidentally, this meshes perfectly with what Team Hillary is planning.
