In what could be a preview of things to come at this summer’s GOP convention a coalition of leftist groups is preparing to stage a big anti-Trump protest in New York City. While the establishment media and D.C. cartel sock puppet tricky Ted Cruz have made hay smearing GOP front-runner Donald Trump for inciting violence it is the backers of the opposing party who are ready to rock and roll. While the media busies itself with smearing Trump and wallowing in tawdry celebrity panty-sniffing a plan to cause mayhem at Thursday’s New York Republican Gala is getting little to no attention.

The same group that organized massive demonstrations at Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Chicago last month plans to descend on New York City Thursday night to protest the billionaire’s appearance at the New York State Republican Committee’s annual gala.
MoveOn.org, a progressive group that’s leading the charge against Trump, is calling on New Yorkers who find themselves at odds with the Republican presidential front-runner to gather outside the Grand Hyatt Hotel Thursday evening where the state GOP plans to host all three Republican hopefuls for a black tie fundraiser that costs $1,000 to attend.
“A collection of organizations and independent New Yorkers are mobilizing to shut down Trump and oppose creeping Trumpism under the banner #HateFreeNY,” the group wrote in a press release sent Wednesday.
Ten other groups, including the Muslim Democratic Club of New York and United We Dream Action, joined MoveOn in taking credit for organizing the anti-Trump protests.
“The Republican hate train is coming to NYC. Donald Trump is the conductor and Ted Cruz is masquerading as the friendly ticket taker,” Antonio Alarcon, a member of the immigrant advocacy group Make the Road Action, said in the press release.
“New Yorkers reject the policies that these two men are proposing, and call for security, unity, and opportunity for all New Yorkers,” Alarcon added.
In addition to the formal press release, multiple Facebook groups have surfaced in the last week that have thousands of people committed to protesting Trump at the New York GOP gala.
“The billionaire bigot is scheduled to speak at the New York State Republican Gala on April 14. Let’s shut him down in NYC,” reads the description of one “Stop Trump” Facebook event.
Conservative website Breitbart News has broken the story and has obtained the following document from the “Stop Trump Coalition” that ominously lists a need for “medics” and “jail support”:
If there is violence and a need for “medics” you can bet that Senator Cruz will go on Fox News tomorrow morning and claim that Trump and Roger Stone were behind the whole thing.
