A narcissistic Miami doctor has lost her job after a video of her engaged in a profanity laced tirade where she attacked an Uber driver went viral on social media. Anjali Ramkissoon was formally given her walking papers by Jackson Health System in what serves as an example that absolutely nothing can be considered private in today’s technologically advanced society. The scantily dressed, obviously drunk Ramkissoon exhibited conduct that is more befitting of a South Beach hooker than a medical professional and may want to consider that as an option as she looks for a new career.
As reported by the New York Daily News “Miami doctor who berated Uber driver in viral video is fired”:
The doctor is out … of a job.
A pint-size Miami medical professional who infamously lost it on an Uber driver has now lost her job.
Dr. Anjali Ramkissoon has been terminated by Jackson Health System, where she served as a resident doctor, a spokeswoman said in a statement Friday.
“She is entitled to an appeal process,” the two-sentence statement reads.
Ramkissoon was publicly shamed after video of her drunkenly berating an Uber driver went viral in January. The fourth-year neurology resident had hopped in the ride that had been hailed by someone else.
“You don’t know who the f–k you’re messing with right now,” Ramkissoon yelled at the driver, later identified as Igor Belic.
The string of verbal, and physical, abuse continued, with Ramkissoon tossing things out of the car, kneeing Belic in the groin and yelling at him to drive her home.
“Get in the f—–g car! Get the f–k in this car you f—–g piece of s–t!” she screamed in the five-minute clip.
“I have lost my mind!” she yelled at gawking passersby.
The infamous incident racked up nearly 7 million views on YouTube — and sidelined Ramkissoon from her job.
Ramkissoon had initially been placed on administrative leave and engaged in a public relations effort to preserve her job – even ending up on Good Morning America – but it was for naught when she was pink slipped anyway. The time-tested idiom of “live by the sword, die by the sword” definitely applies in this case considering that the good doctor had quite a social media presence before her ill-fated encounter with the Uber driver.
