Self-proclaimed prophet and media star Glenn Beck is calling for a one day fast as a call for God to save America by delivering Indiana to Ted Cruz. The mercurial Beck had been keeping a low profile after being practically chained at the hip to the Texas Senator earlier in the primary season but with Cruz falling in polls, Carly falling off stages and the despised Donald Trump about to deliver the knockout punch….heeee’s baaaack.
Breitbart News reports “Glenn Beck Invites America to Join Him in Another Fast”:
Cruz surrogate Glenn Beck is once again encouraging Americans to join him in a fast in the run-up to a crucial primary vote and to spread the word with the hashtag #Tuesdayfast.
In a Sunday night Facebook post, Beck wrote: “I would like to ask that you, your family and friends join me for a day of prayers, fasting and humility. To beg the Lord to not remove His hand from us. To turn to Him and ask that He will heal our land. Beginning Monday night and running for 24 hours ending on Tuesday will you pray and if possible fast like you have never done before?”
Beck noted that, “I have asked for this in the past and was mocked. It is okay.”
And he will be mocked again for good reason – he’s batshit crazy and unraveling faster than his media empire is. However, calling in the almighty may not be enough to save tricky Ted who much like Hillary, becomes more unpopular with each passing day. Cruz battled hecklers on Monday including a young boy who made headlines with his shout out of “You Suck!” to the candidate. Beck hopes that his imploring of true believers to stop eating for a day will bring the divine intervention needed for Ted to get his mojo back and keep the Romney plan of siphoning delegates to block Trump at the convention as an option.
Folks in the Hoosier State go to the polls today as Team Cruz will continue to do exhaustive work to get out the vote even in the face of grim poll numbers. By sometime this evening it will be known whether the majority of Indianans share the sentiments of that youngster in La Porte.
