Count Hollywood liberal Rob Reiner among those whose heads are exploding now that Donald Trump has survived the GOPe gauntlet of death to emerge as the all but inevitable Republican party nominee. In an admission of exactly what liberals believe about millions of their fellow Americans, the award winning director appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe where he attributed Trump’s support to racism in the now mandatory knee jerk reaction.  Mr. Reiner – who gained fame as Archie Bunker’s hippie son in law Michael Stivic on the 1970’s hit series All in the Family – didn’t have to put much effort into his acting because he just a natural meathead.

The Hill reports that “Rob Reiner on Trump’s support: A lot of people are racist”:

Actor and director Rob Reiner on Thursday argued that racism explains much of the support for presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

“There are a lot of people who are racist,” Reiner said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” when asked to explain the millions of people who like what Trump says.

“Oh my God, did you just say that?” interjected co-host Joe Scarborough, a former GOP congressman.

“They’re not all racists,” Reiner continued. “There’s racism in this country that has been submerged for a long, long time and all of a sudden there’s a man … he’s unearthed a lot of it.”

Reiner pointed to Trump earlier this year not offering a strong disavowal of the support from former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard David Duke, arguing Trump doesn’t mind such support.

“Do you see any racist people at the Bernie rallies? Do you see any skinheads?” Reiner asked, referring to the Democratic presidential hopeful.

“They’re not all racists, but there is a strain there,” he added.

Speaking of racists, the insipid New York Daily News columnist and Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King glommed onto Reiner’s comments to once again whack whitey in his piece “If you support Donald Trump, after all the racist things he has said, then you are a bigot as well”:

Reiner was serious and so were they. That’s what’s frightening. Three different people who have witnessed and studied Trump’s disturbing ascendancy can come away with wildly different conclusions about it.

First off, we have to be honest about Mika and Joe’s love for Donald Trump. They are his friends. Voicemails obtained between the three of them show their amazingly cozy relationship. Just a few months ago, a hot mic recorded Brzezinski, who was sitting with Trump, praising him and prepping him for some real softballs that she was about to throw his way. Donald loved it.

Beyond that, their exchange with Reiner revealed something much more disturbing — people who have not been the direct target of Donald’s offensive bigotry seem to be fully prepared to give him and his fervent supporters a pass.

Former KKK leader David Duke has fawned over Trump for months and was recently recorded saying, he was proud of Trump for frightening wealthy “Jewish extremists” and the “Jewish supremacists who control our country.”

Neo-Nazis are volunteering in his campaign offices.

Well-known white supremacists are attending his campaign rallies and assaulting people of color.

Don White, the founder of Stormfront, the leading white supremacist website in the world, openly credits Donald Trump for bringing swarms of new traffic to their platform and to white supremacy in general.

White supporters at a Las Vegas Trump rally, while assaulting a peaceful black protester, declared they wanted to “light that motherf—-r on fire,” which actually happened often to lynching victims during Jim Crow.

The inflammatory rhetoric and defamatory swill is standard operating procedure for King and according to much of the chatter on the left, it is going to be the top line of attack in the general election campaign. Hillary, the Democratic party and their surrogates could give a rat’s ass if they contribute to what will inevitably be violent racial unrest – if Shaun King gets his way with lots of dead white people – as long as she can exploit it all in order to slither into the White House come next January. Hillary is such a loathsome candidate that trying to incite a race war is the only way that she can get elected, the liberals have this gnawing fear that Trump is going to paste Mrs. Clinton right in the kisser so desperate times call for desperate measures.

It’s time for all of these meatheads to just stifle themselves!
