In a voice as soothing as a fork dropped down a running garbage disposal, Queen Hillary gave what was trumpeted as a major foreign policy speech on Thursday in San Diego. The big address was a perfect opportunity to swing the narrative away from her struggles with the cagey socialist Bernie Sanders as well as to declare total war on presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump. Mrs. Clinton unleashed the nukes in an address that seemed cobbled together from Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham outtakes.

She wailed about Trump’s call to make the chiselers in NATO pay their fair share, shrieked that Trump would be a “historic mistake” and howled that Trump lacked a plan to defeat ISIS. She conveniently omitted the inconvenient detail that she is practically the mother of ISIS after her dumpster fire of a tour as Secretary of State destabilized the Middle East into the morass of misery and death that it is today.

Reuters is reporting that “Clinton casts Trump as dangerous clown in caustic speech on foreign policy”:

U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton lambasted Donald Trump’s foreign policy platform as “dangerously incoherent” in a speech on Thursday that cast her Republican rival as both a frightening and laughable figure.

In remarks that at times resembled a comedy roast, Clinton unleashed a torrent of polished zingers and one-liners to attack Trump’s policies and character, suggesting Trump might start a nuclear war if elected to the White House simply because “somebody got under his very thin skin.”

“Donald Trump’s ideas are not just different, they are dangerously incoherent,” she said to a room of supporters in San Diego, California. “They’re not even really ideas, just a series of bizarre rants, personal feuds and outright lies.”

Clinton, the front-runner in the race to become the Democratic presidential nominee, delivered her speech as she seeks to shift her attention to the Nov. 8 election against likely rival Trump and away from Bernie Sanders, a U.S. senator from Vermont, who is continuing his long-shot bid for the nomination.

Clinton was speaking in San Diego ahead of California’s June 7 primary election.

Democratic Party leaders have fretted about how to best oppose Trump, who managed to knock out all 16 rivals for the Republican nomination in part with his uninhibited style of assailing them with personal insults. Trump revels in referring to Clinton as “Crooked Hillary” and dredging up the infidelities of her husband, Bill Clinton, the former president.

Clinton’s remarks were intended in part to show she would not be cowed and that she could go toe-to-toe with him in scornful put-downs.

“He says he has foreign policy experience because he ran the Miss Universe pageant in Russia,” she said as the crowd guffawed, and she suggested Trump would run the U.S. economy “like one of his casinos.”

But Hillary’s killer sound bite that will make all of the headlines on Friday is that Trump cannot be trusted with the nuclear launch codes. This is exactly what Jeb Bush claimed last year back when he was still the apple of the establishment’s eye and the so-called “experts” were all saying that there was no way that the Donald would win the nomination. It is also horseshit.

Mrs. Clinton is playing to the lowest common denominator and whipping out the fear card. There is actually less a chance of a nuclear Armageddon under Trump than a Clinton regime. Hillary would field an all-star lineup of warmongers – mostly women – who would continue to push for the encirclement of Russia as well as hostilities with China. It’s far more likely that a tactical or battlefield nuke used in one of those skirmishes would lead to something much larger – like an extinction level event for the human race. Trump may be a lot of things but he isn’t suicidal and he has become the sworn enemy of the establishment with his promise of an “America First” foreign policy, something that will never happen under a Hillary regime.

The media will join in by promoting the nuclear madman meme, just like they used it to destroy Barry Goldwater so will it be used against Trump.
