Self-serving Miami windbag Marco Rubio has declared that he has no interest in being Donald Trump’s running mate. The Florida flip-flopper hit the Sunday morning bloviation circuit where he sang his own praises over his decision to renege on his pledge to not run for reelection to the U.S. Senate. The runner-up establishment golden boy to corporate Trojan Horse Paul Ryan, Rubio will be feted by the media as a key anti-Trump voice that will be trotted out often on the Sunday shitshows – if he is able to hornswoggle Floridians into returning him to Washington for a job that he admits that he dislikes and which his attendance record is dismal.

According to CBS News “Rubio weighs in on calls to be Trump’s running mate”:

Marco Rubio is running for reelection to the U.S. Senate, and he definitely isn’t interested in suggestions that he would be a good choice to be Donald Trump’s vice presidential running mate, he said in an interview airing Sunday.

“Yeah, well, it’s too late for that,” Rubio told CBS’ “Face the Nation” Saturday in Miami. “I’m running for the United States Senate from Florida. And you can’t run for two offices at once, so.”

Pushed again on the question by moderator John Dickerson, Rubio repeated that he wouldn’t be able to share a ticket with Trump. When Rubio was still a presidential hopeful, the two men frequently clashed on the campaign trail.

“That’s not for me a viable option. And I said that months ago,” he said. “The differences in policies that me and Donald have had are too big for something like that to work. It would be a distraction quite frankly to his campaign.”

The question was never posed as to why on God’s green earth would Trump even want to tab little Marco for his veep. The guy couldn’t even win the Republican primary in his own freaking state where he was schlonged by Trump so how does it benefit the presumptive nominee? While the Donald it the ultimate unconventional candidate he isn’t likely to pick some chump who can’t be relied upon to deliver a key swing state.

It’s just more self-promotion for Rubio who is already running for the 2020 Republican nomination
