During a bloody week in which hundreds were killed by a massive car bomb in Baghdad, terrorists stormed Istanbul’s airport and ISIS militants murdered diners at a Bangladesh restaurant, a number of sites were attacked in Saudi Arabia including one of the holiest mosques in the land. Mass casualties were avoided at the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina when a suicide bomber was thwarted before getting deeply into the crowd of worshippers making their pilgrimage. A bombing within the crowd would almost certainly have set off a panic and a stampede that could have potentially killed thousands.

According to a Reuters report “Saudi crown prince seeks to assure Saudis after triple bombings: agency”:

Saudi Arabia’s crown prince and anti-terror tsar sought on Tuesday to reassure Saudis of the country’s security after suicide attacks targeting the holy city of Medina, the U.S. consulate in Jeddah and Shi’ites in the city of Qatif.

At least four people were killed in the attacks on Monday. No group has claimed responsibility but Islamic State has carried out a number of similar bombings in the kingdom in the past year, targeting Shi’ite Muslims and Saudi security forces.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul-Aziz, who is also the Saudi interior minister, visited two security officers and a citizen wounded in the bombing in Jeddah, the state news agency SPA reported on Monday evening.

“The security of the homeland is good, it is at its highest levels and thanks be to God it gets stronger every day,” SPA quoted Prince Mohammed as saying during the visit.

The attacks have rattled Saudis who are preparing to celebrate Eid al-Fitr from Wednesday following the month-long Ramadan when they fast from dawn to dusk.

Militant attacks on Medina, home to the Prophet’s Mosque and the second-holiest site in Islam, are unprecedented. The Al Saud ruling family considers itself the protectors of Islam’s holiest sites Medina and Mecca.

It would appear that the chickens have come home to roost in the land that has been the world’s top exporter of Islamic extremism. The decadent pigs who run the House of Saud have for too long been spared the blowback of the toxic garbage that they pump out to poison minds against the west and especially the Great Satan of America. Never forget that fifteen of the nineteen September 11, 2001 hijackers hailed from The Kingdom and according to the suppressed 28 pages, elements of the Saudi regime were involved in providing material and financial support to at least two of the hijackers. It would be justice served if a wave of attacks in the belly of the beast could set off a chain of events that would lead to the decapitating of the snake – and numerous members of the royal family too.

The attempted suicide bombing at Mohammad’s final resting place will likely trigger a massive sweep and crackdown on suspected Islamic militants by the Saudi government – or at least the ones that aren’t on it’s payroll.
