Now that it’s pretty much a foregone conclusion that Hillary Clinton will receive little more than a slap on the wrist by the Obama Justice Department over her missing emails another detail has emerged in regards to the long-running cover-up. According to Hillary’s lover indispensable aide Huma Abedin the Democrat nominee in waiting also regularly burned her daily schedules. The outrageous conduct of the woman who will likely be the next President of the United States would in a decent country with a functional media be a huge controversy but unfortunately we live in the banana republic of Obamastan where the greater the criminality, the more that the regime throws up barriers to obstruct justice.
The New York Post reports that “Huma Abedin admits that Clinton burned daily schedules”:
Hillary Clinton’s closest aide revealed in a deposition last week that her boss destroyed at least some of her schedules as secretary of state — a revelation that could complicate matters for the presumptive Democratic nominee, who, along with the State Department she ran, is facing numerous lawsuits seeking those public records.
Huma Abedin was deposed in connection with a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit into Clinton’s emails — but her admission could be relevant to another lawsuit seeking Clinton’s schedules.
“If there was a schedule that was created that was her Secretary of State daily schedule, and a copy of that was then put in the burn bag, that . . . that certainly happened on . . . on more than one occasion,” Abedin told lawyers representing Judicial Watch, the conservative organization behind the emails lawsuit.
Abedin made the surprising admission in response to a question about document destruction at the Department of State. A lawyer for Judicial Watch asked: “And during your tenure at the State Department, were you aware of your obligation not to delete federal records or destroy federal records?”
Abedin was not pressed for more details.
Days after Hillary’s husband Slick Willie conducted a secret meeting with Obama’s Attorney General Loretta Lynch and with some reports indicating that she will not face any charges in the email scandal it’s hard to have much optimism that this country will ever be a place where the rule of law applies to all again.
It’s as George Orwell once so eloquently put it: all animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others. In the case of Mrs. Clinton this is especially so considering her primo position at the head of the trough.
