Don’t think for a minute that the NFL’s Cleveland Browns rid themselves of miscreants when they sent drunkard Johnny Manziel packing. Just in time for training camp the woebegone franchise has a brand new asshole who is bringing more bad publicity as an omen for another doomed season. Running back Isiah Crowell has outed himself as a member of the Black Lives Matter cop haters after his ill-advised Instagram posting of a police officer getting his throat sliced was pointed out and has brought great embarrassment to the organization – again. You would think that a guy who has it made as a professional athlete and as such is in a position to be a positive roll model would have some respect for the system that put them there. But alas, you can take a thug out of the hood but you can’ t take the hood out of a thug as we see time and again with these privileged prima donnas who don’t know how good that they have it.

According to “Browns’ Isaiah Crowell to apologize for post of police officer getting throat slashed”:

Browns running back Isaiah Crowell plans to apologize Monday for posting a drawing of a police officer having his throat slashed on Instagram, a league source told

The person slashing the officer’s throat is wearing a black jacket and hood with is face covered. He’s wearing black gloves, has an ankh pendent around his neck and an American flag backpack on. Blood is spurting out of the officer’s neck and mouth, which is covered by the murderer’s hand.

Crowell’s caption read, “They give police all types of weapons and they continually choose to kill us….#Weak.”

The post, which received 33 likes, was quickly taken down from his account, but was screenshotted and circulated on social media.

Crowell posted the drawing after white police officers fatally shot two black men last week, one in Minnesota and one in Louisiana. But it went up before five police officers were slain in Dallas on Thursday during a protest of the two shootings, the source said.

Crowell, the Browns’ third-year running back and leading rusher in 2015, is expected to issue an apology today on social media and try to provide some context for his decision to post the graphic drawing.

This is not what the team needs as it tries to escape what has been an annual purgatory in the AFC North’s cellar riding on the arm of reclamation project Robert a Griffin III. Crowell, whose nickname is “The Crow” has a history of being a thug, having had to transfer from the University of Georgia to Alabama State after the Bulldogs booted him off the team due to a felony charge. Considering the negative publicity as well as the potential for alienating a sizable chunk of the team’s fanbase the  Browns may want to seek other on the field options outside of a thuggish racist with a horseshit sense of judgement. The

Nice role model folks, hope that there is room upon the pile at the bonfire for those Manziel jerseys for this goon’s number 34.
