Resplendent in a white Chairman Mao style pantsuit, Hillary Rodham Clinton was formally coronated in Philadelphia last night. Mrs. Clinton’s big speech included a call to denounce the America first policies prescribed by her rival Donald Trump who she took repeated shots at throughout her stemwinder. The queen’s address capped off a week of pandering to identity groups, spreading fear and loathing, dodging responsibility for the content of the leaked DNC emails and mocking Bernie Sanders supporters after the senile old goat sold them out. If the Democratic National Convention was an indication of the world that awaits us then we are on the precipice of fascism.

Politico reports on the big speech in the story “Clinton decries Trump’s ‘Midnight in America’”:

Hillary Clinton delivered a stark warning on her historic night in Philadelphia Thursday: Donald Trump is dangerous and irresponsible — and a vote for him imperils everything Americans stand for.

As Clinton became the first female nominee of a major party, she drew biting contrasts in her acceptance speech between her vision for the country and Trump’s. The former secretary of State painted a picture of a vibrant, strong and diverse America that requires “steady leadership”— at odds with, in her view, the images of stagnation and division that a feckless Trump conjures up.

“In the end, it comes down to what Donald Trump doesn’t get: that America is great – because America is good,” she said. “So enough with the bigotry and bombast. Donald Trump’s not offering real change.”

Trump, Clinton suggested, was corrupting longstanding Republican — and American — values.

“He wants to divide us — from the rest of the world, and from each other,” she said. “He’s betting that the perils of today’s world will blind us to its unlimited promise. He’s taken the Republican Party a long way, from ‘Morning in America’ to ‘Midnight in America.’ He wants us to fear the future and fear each other.”

Hillary invoked liberal hero Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s famous quote that “we have nothing to fear but fear itself” despite here being the one peddling it. Not that the adoring Hill-bots have any use for historical context and they will exit Philly hellbent at doing whatever it takes to ensure that she ends up assuming the throne come next January. It has never ceased to amaze me how easily that liberals have come to love war and to slip comfortably into fascism under the cult of personality of Barack Obama who has passed the torch to Hillary who will use it to burn down whatever remains of America.

While the leftist mobs were fired up and the media prepped to engage in a withering barrage of smearing Trump as a vile racist who is the second coming of Hitler, the Donald launched his own Twitter fusillade:

The battle for the soul of America is now on.
