Now that the party conventions have been dispensed with, it’s time for the main event – the long awaited, steel cage death match between establishment champion Hillary Clinton and outsider challenger Donald Trump. The entire Democratic National Convention was transformed into a forum for pandering to identity groups and slashing and burning Trump – reaching it’s shameful nadir when the father of a Muslim soldier killed in Iraq was used as a stage prop. While the media chugged along with anti-Trump agitprop, speaker after speaker took to the stage in the Wells Fargo Center to engage in dishonest, bombastic slash and burn attacks against Trump. None of the denunciations was more shrill than the one delivered by El Presidente himself who in the style of a classic demagogue lumped the Republican nominee in with the historical enemies of America including communists, fascists and jihadists. Obama has been a festering wart on the ass of this country so he is hardly one to talk.

But enough is enough and Trump has pretty much declared that its’ time to stop pussyfooting around and get about the business of kicking some serious ass.

According to The Hill “Trump: Gloves are off in fight against Clinton”:

Donald Trump said Friday he’s “taking the gloves off” in his general election fight against Hillary Clinton after she railed against him in her acceptance speech for the Democratic presidential nomination.

“You know, it’s interesting, every time I mention her, everyone screams ‘lock her up,’ and you know what? I’ve been nice but after that performance last night, I don’t have to be so nice anymore. I’m taking the gloves off,” the Republican presidential nominee said at a rally in Colorado.

Trump notably didn’t respond to chants of “lock her up” during his nomination speech at the Republican National Convention last week, causing onlookers to suggest he could be reining in his rough knee-jerk attacks on opponents.

But at the Colorado Springs event, Trump said there will be “no more Mr. Nice Guy” in the contest against his Democratic rival.

“You know what I’ve been saying? I’ve been saying, let’s just beat her in November. But you know what? You know what? I’m starting to agree with you,” Trump said when the chants broke out at the rally.

Trump appeared rattled over the attacks on him during the Democrat’s nominating convention in Philadelphia this week, saying Thursday he was tempted to lash out at speakers who ripped him.

“I was gonna hit a number of those speakers so hard their heads would spin. They’d never recover,” he said at a rally in Davenport, Iowa, on Thursday.

While taking the gloves off against Hillary is long overdue, Trump will also be fighting against the fully mobilized establishment as well which will spare no smear nor save one dollar in order to promote Mrs. Clinton who will keep their rackets in place and leave the oligarchy unmolested. Whether or not the Donald is able to continue his full-frontal assault on the corrupt system all the way to the White House remains to be seen but he has already overcome a rigged game to get even this far. Now the 2016 election can become a referendum on the entire rotten establishment and it’s abandonment of millions of Americans who have been sacrificed upon the altar of globalism.
