Imperial Washington’s whiz kid Paul Ryan is back to his pre-convention tricks and is collaborating with Queen Hillary and the media to sink Trump in the election. Reluctant Ryan has proven time and again that he is only about one thing – Paul Ryan – and he will eagerly take a dump on anyone who stands in the way of his own ambition. The overly fawning treatment that the Wisconsin weasel has received from the establishment media should be a dead giveaway that the Speaker of the House is a Trojan horse for big money special interests and is going to be the man who will deliver both the job-destroying Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and amnesty for illegal aliens. Ryan is jumping on the bandwagon to join in on the latest ginned up smear campaign over Hillary’s pocket Constitution waving Muslim stage props.

Breitbart News sums it up in the article “Double Agent: Paul Ryan Races to Media to Join Hillary’s Attacks Against Trump”:

Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan opted to join in on Hillary Clinton’s latest attack against his party’s nominee.

In recent days, the establishment media has devoted a great deal of coverage to Khizr Khan, a Muslim father whose son died serving in Iraq and who spoke at the Democratic National Convention. During his DNC speech, Khan attacked Donald Trump for wanting to curb the record-high rate of Muslim immigration into the U.S.

Following the media’s practically round-the-clock coverage of Khan’s attacks against Trump, Speaker Paul Ryan decided to join in on the pile on.

Ryan issued a statement on Sunday in which he, once again, disavowed the use of a religious test for admitting foreign migrants.

Ryan wrote: “As I have said on numerous occasions, a religious test for entering our country is not reflective of these fundamental values. I reject it. Many Muslim Americans have served valiantly in our military and made the ultimate sacrifice. Captain Khan was one such brave example. His sacrifice — and that of Khizr and Ghazala Khan — should always be honored. Period.”

In his statement, Ryan did not mention that Trump has recently made clear that his plan to curb Islamic migration will focus on geography and regions. Nor did Ryan mention that — as many, including Jeff Sessions and Andrew McCarthy, have pointed out — religious screening is, in fact, constitutional.

Ryan’s decision to comment on Khan’s statement is interesting as Ryan issued no similar statement condemning Hillary Clinton after grieving parents whose children were murdered by illegal aliens spoke at the Republican National Convention and explained how Clinton-backed policies were directly responsible for their children’s deaths.

But Ryan was not the only Republican rushing to buy stock in the Khan kerfuffle, at least according to a piece in the anti-Trump gazette the Washington Post entitled “Republicans denounce Trump as confrontation with Muslim parents escalates”:

Some of Trump’s supporters agreed. Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), whose husband is a military veteran, said, “I am appalled that Donald Trump would disparage [the Khans] and that he had the gall to compare his own sacrifices to those of a Gold Star family.”

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush, who lost to Trump in the Republican presidential primary, lashed out at the businessman for suggesting that Ghazala Khan was not permitted to speak by her husband.

“This is so incredibly disrespectful of a family that endured the ultimate sacrifice for our country,” Bush tweeted Sunday evening.

Speaking at a church in Cleveland on the third day of a post-convention bus tour, Clinton said Khizr Khan stood before his country to tell the story of his son, Capt. Khan, who was killed by a suicide car bomb at age 27, and was denigrated by Trump.

“Mr. Khan,” she said, pausing, “paid the ultimate sacrifice in his family, didn’t he? And what has he heard from Donald Trump? Nothing but insults, degrading comments about Muslims, a total misunderstanding of what made our country great.”

Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.), who urged Republicans to walk away from Trump after the Curiel episode, said the Republican nominee’s attack on the Khans is unprecedented.

“This is going to a place where we’ve never gone before, to push back against the families of the fallen. There used to be some things that were sacred in American politics — that you don’t do — like criticizing the parents of a fallen soldier, even if they criticize you,” Graham said. “If you’re going to be leader of the free world, you have to be able to accept criticism. Mr. Trump can’t.”

Of course it’s the usual array of suspects that are always sought out by the media. Whining Kelly Ayotte who threw a temper tantrum when having to work overtime on the 2014 Cromnibus forced her to miss the Nutcracker, the Palmetto State princess Lindsey Graham and the humiliated Jeb! who still is in a state of shock that Trump beat him like little bitch in a run for the nomination that was all but given to him on a silver platter.

These are truly unique times in which we are living when so many Republicans are working hand in hand with the opposition party to defeat their own nominee. Quite frankly it borders on treason.
