The Democrats are unifying as never before to surround their tainted nominee with an impenetrable force field as she limps toward the White House. With the anti-Russian phobia now instilled in the public by a complicit and corrupt media looking to put down the Trump revolution once and for all, the Dems are grabbing onto the teats and milking the panic for all it’s worth. The meme is building that the only way that Hillary Clinton will “lose” the presidential election is if it’s hacked by Russian agents who are in cahoots with Trump. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid continued to sell that potent brew of snake oil when he called for federal intervention in the election process.

The New York Times is reporting that “Harry Reid Cites Evidence of Russian Tampering in U.S. Vote, and Seeks F.B.I. Inquiry”:

The Senate minority leader, Harry Reid of Nevada, asked the F.B.I. on Monday to investigate evidence suggesting that Russia may try to manipulate voting results in November.

In a letter to the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey Jr., Mr. Reid wrote that the threat of Russian interference “is more extensive than is widely known and may include the intent to falsify official election results.” Recent classified briefings from senior intelligence officials, Mr. Reid said in an interview, have left him fearful that President Vladimir V. Putin’s “goal is tampering with this election.”

News reports on Monday said the F.B.I. warned state election officials several weeks ago that foreign hackers had exported voter registration data from computer systems in at least one state, and had pierced the systems of a second one.

The bureau did not name the states, but Yahoo News, which first reported the confidential F.B.I. warning, said they were Arizona and Illinois. Matt Roberts, a spokesman for Arizona’s secretary of state, said the F.B.I. had told state officials that Russians were behind the Arizona attack.

The F.B.I. now seems to be a fully co-opted enforcement arm of the Democrat political establishment and even worse, it’s looking like the Department of Homeland Security is ready to take control over the election process under the pretense that voting is a ‘”critical infrastructure”, another example of mission creep for the big government Frankenstein that was unleashed on America after 9/11. Keep in mind that DHS Gestapo commandant Jeh Johnson is a hand-picked Obama political stooge and it’s hard to see this as anything other than the power grab that it is.

According to a World Net Daily report “Homeland Security looks to take charge of elections”:

The Obama administration’s Department of Homeland Security is contemplating a special declaration that will allow it to control America’s elections, according to a new report.

The federal agency would declare the election a “critical infrastructure” in such a case, the Washington Examiner reported Tuesday, noting the move would give DHS “the same control over security it has over Wall Street and and the electric power grid.”

The news comes just two days after the FBI revealed foreign hackers broke into state election systems in Illinois and Arizona.

According to the Examiner, those attacks increase the likelihood of DHS making the special declaration in time for the upcoming election.

“We should carefully consider whether our election system, our election process, is critical infrastructure like the financial sector, like the power grid,” Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said.

“There’s a vital national interest in our election process, so I do think we need to consider whether it should be considered by my department and others critical infrastructure,” he said at media conference in August hosted by the Christian Science Monitor.

The dusting off of Cold War era fear-mongering marks a new low for the Democrats as well as a indication of just how far that they are willing to go to make the Clinton restoration a reality.
