Underachieving multi-millionaire NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick continues to piss people off over his provocative words and actions. The San Francisco 49ers quarterback showed off his new afro to a booing San Diego crowd as he continued his drift into full blown black radicalism. His newfound militancy includes the anti-cop attitude that has come to define hooligans like the Black Lives Matter movement, something that doesn’t sit well with the police who provide security at 49ers home games. Now the local police union is threatening to boycott the team’s games unless Kaeptain Un-American is reprimanded by the team.
The Santa Clara police union has sent a letter to the San Francisco 49ers, warning that police might stop working the team’s home games due to Colin Kaepernick’s statements on police brutality and his wearing of socks during a practice that showed cartoon pigs dressed as police officers.
The letter, obtained by NBC Bay Area, states that if the 49ers do not discipline Kaepernick, “it could result in police officers choosing not to work at your facilities.”
The letter also states that “the Santa Clara Police Officers’ Association has a duty to protect its members and work to make all of their working environments free of harassing behavior.”
It criticizes what it called anti-police statements made by Kaepernick, calling them “insulting, inaccurate and completely unsupported by any facts.”
The team reiterated Friday night that it stands behind Kaepernick and respects his right not to participate in celebrating the national anthem.
The team’s statement however is a dodge. The police union letter isn’t about his refusal to stand for the national anthem but rather his pig socks and anti-cop statements. It would also seem to indicate that Kaepernick won’t be among the roster cuts to be announced on Saturday. Ironically, the overpaid Prima Donna may have saved his job by becoming a hero to liberals and blacktivists who would turn his being jettisoned into nothing short of a crucifixion. There is already a new hashtag #KapSoBlack although not one as of yet that is more honest like #BlackMillionairesMatter.
One thing is for sure and that is by not acting, the 49ers organization is effectively rewarding Kaepernick and in doing so will spread the seeds of black militance to locker rooms throughout the NFL.
