Emperor Barack Obama’s Asian farewell tour isn’t going swimmingly. First the so-called “leader” of the free world was humiliated when the Chinese didn’t provide a stairway for him to depart Air Force One from to walk upon the red carpet, instead making him exit from the “ass end” of the plane. Then there was the flagrant act of disrespect from the president of the Philippines who scoffed at Obama as either a “son of a whore” or a “son of a bitch” depending on which news source that you were reading. But instead of delivering a harsh response to President Rodrigo Duterte, the petulant narcissist Obama flapped his long arms and clucked like a chicken by cancelling his meeting with the Filipino strongman.

As reported by the Washington Post “Obama cancels meeting with ‘colorful ’ Philippine president, who now expresses regret”:

After being called an obscenity by the president of the Philippines, President Obama canceled a meeting with the leader that had been scheduled for Tuesday.

President Rodrigo Duterte had threatened to curse out Obama if he raised the issue of extrajudicial killings by Philippine authorities in a sweeping crackdown on drug trafficking. Speaking to reporters, Duterte, who took office in June, said the Philippines is a “sovereign state and we have long ceased to be a colony,” according to the Associated Press.

He added: “I do not have any master except the Filipino people, nobody but nobody. You must be respectful. Do not just throw questions. ‘Putang ina,’ I will swear at you in that forum.” That is the Tagalog phrase for “son of a bitch” or “son of a whore.”

But on Tuesday, in a statement read by his spokesman, Duterte expressed regret that his comments “came across as a personal attack” on the U.S. president. The statement said a meeting “between the United States and the Philippines” had been arranged for a later date.

While Duterte has walked back his comments it was still a major diplomatic embarrassment for Obama whose foreign policy has been nothing short of an unmitigated dumpster fire and who has rapidly lost stature in the world as a result. Under Dear Leader the USA has become a mockery and it’s going to take a heck of a lot of leadership and diplomatic skills to restore the country’s stature after Mr. Obama leaves office in January.

Unfortunately, such leadership won’t be provided by Hillary Clinton who will only double-down on Obama’s failures and likely provoke a war with Russia that will end up with half the globe being incinerated just to prove that she has the balls for the job.
