In what may end up being the fatal blow to the Never Trumpers, faux libertarian Gary Johnson won’t be onstage for the first presidential debate. It was the hope that the former New Mexico Governor would be able to siphon off enough of the vote to put Hillary into the White House and maintain the corrupt political elite’s stranglehold on power. Mitt Romney really likes him too.

The Hill reports “Third-party candidates miss cut for first debate”:

The Commission on Presidential Debates announced on Friday that Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump and their running mates are the only candidates who will participate in the upcoming debates.

This means Trump (R) and Clinton (D) will take part in the Sept. 26 debate at Hofstra University in New York and that Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein have not been invited.

The Oct. 4 vice presidential debate will just include Democrat Tim Kaine and Republican Mike Pence.

It’s still possible Johnson or Stein could be invited to the presidential debates scheduled for Oct. 9 and Oct. 19, but they would have to attract more support in polls.

“I would say I am surprised that the CPD has chosen to exclude me from the first debate, but I’m not,” Johnson said in a statement.

The news comes after Johnson and his running mate William Weld had taken out a full page ad in the New York Times making the case for why they should be included. The ad however didn’t bother to note that the less than dynamic duo are just a pair of establishment Republican opportunists whose role was to act as hatchetmen for Hillary. Don’t forget the ridiculously over the top rhetoric from the former Massachusetts Governor Weld when he compared Trump’s immigration plan to the Nazi pogrom Kristallnacht.

The announcement comes as Hillary sinks like whaleshit in the polls and it looks as though the presence of the bong ranger Johnson is helping to drag her numbers down.

Green party candidate Jill Stein also didn’t make the cut nor did CIA candidate Evan McMullin.
