The NFL’s proud face of rising black militancy in America will make his big on the field debut Sunday. The mouthy cop-hating, flag desecrator Colin Kaepernick will be back in the starting lineup when the San Francisco 49ers face the Buffalo Bills where he will likely receive a rude welcome from a boisterous crowd at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The attendees could include a number of police officers invited to the game by Bills running back LeSean McCoy.
As reported by Rochester NBC Affiliate WHEC 10 “Bills’ McCoy to invite police to game against 49ers, Kaepernick”:
Bills running back LeSean McCoy said he is inviting 15-20 Buffalo police officers to an upcoming game at a time when the 49ers visit Buffalo next and quarterback Colin Kaepernick is protesting police and the treatment of African-Americans and minorities.
McCoy said the gesture was not a direct response to Kaepernick’s kneeling protests during the national anthem, and that he has no problem with his protests. Kaepernick is set to start for the first time this year on Sunday against the Bills. McCoy said it has yet to be determined if the police officers will attend this weekend’s game or Buffalo’s following home game on Oct. 30 against New England.
“Just an appreciation type of thing,” McCoy said. “Cause they’re taking so much heat right now. There’s things that are happening that’s definitely wrong but I just feel like there’s bad people, there’s bad cops and there’s good cops.”
McCoy revealed the invitation when asked about the attention surrounding Kaepernick and his protests.
While McCoy has had his own troubles with the law at least he understands the importance of the police when it comes to maintaining order and beating back the anarchists. Some will say that the former Eagle’s motivations are cynical in nature after he escaped being charged in a Philadelphia bar brawl that left several off duty cops injured but haters will hate and America is full of them these days.
After weeks of being celebrated by the media for trashing the flag and the men and women in blue, the once maligned former starter replaces the putrid Blaine Gabbert in the hopes of generating a spark for an offense that gives a new definition to the word rancid. If Kaepernick has a really big game then come Monday morning he will be hailed as a conquering hero – who knows, he may even get a White House invite from Emperor Obama and a spot in a Hillary Clinton campaign ad.
More players need to mimic the actions of McCoy instead of Kaepernick and his gaggle of oppressed millionaires, perhaps if they do then the NFL’s ratings drop will reverse itself.
The game kicks off at 1 PM on Sunday with the Bills as a heavy favorite against the woeful Niners.
