The liberal epidemic of Trump derangement syndrome has reared it’s ugly head in the outrageous call for violence against so-called “Alt-Right” leader Richard Spencer by a prominent editor of the Beltway gossip rag Politico. National Editor Michael Hirsh has been forced to resign after publishing the home addresses of Spencer and encouraging angry leftist mobs to go after him with baseball bats. It is yet another fine example of liberal hypocrisy when it comes to tolerance and respect for the viewpoints of others who don’t hew to the Democratic party line.
The Daily Caller made the bust that led to Hirsh’s resignation when it pounced on the ill-advised social media posts by the now former editor and grabbed screen shots before a panicked Hirsh could delete them which he later did.

An award-winning Politico national editor resigned Tuesday after publishing two home addresses of an “alt-right” leader.
The abrupt departure happened after Politico’s Michael Hirsh published the private addresses of Richard Spencer, head of the National Policy Institute, which critics describe as a white nationalist organization.
“Stop whining about Richard B. Spencer, Nazi, and exercise your rights as decent Americans,” Hirsh wrote on his public Facebook page. “Here are his two addresses.”
After being asked by a commenter if it was ethical to post someone’s home address, Hirsh threatened to escalate matters.
“He lives part of the time next door to me in Arlington. Our grandfathers brought baseball bats to Bund meetings. Want to join me?” Hirsh wrote.
Politico editor-in-chief John Harris and editor Carrie Budoff Brown said Hirsh’s post was impossible to defend.
“These posts were clearly outside the bounds of acceptable discourse, and Politico editors regard them as a serious lapse of newsroom standards,” Harris and Budoff Brown told The Daily Caller.
“They crossed a line in ways that the publication will not defend, and editors are taking steps to ensure that such a lapse does not occur again.”
Spencer has been labeled by critics as a Nazi, racist and white supremacist.
Whether or not the media and liberals – or anyone for that matter – finds the views of Mr. Spencer to be offensive it bears mentioning that he is entitled to his opinion and enjoys a right say whatever the hell that he pleases. The concept of free speech is lost on the leftist moonbats who rush to defend the repulsive hate spewed by cop-hating domestic terror groups like Black Lives Matter and other militants who can be counted on to vote Democrat but there is always a double standard when it comes to the left.
It is a truly a sad day in America when members of the establishment media are now upping the ante on their standard dishonest hate-mongering and have taken to actually inciting pogroms against political foes. If anything bad ends up happening to Mr. Spencer and his family in terms of violence then Hirsh and Politico should be charged as accessories for the reckless endangerment that they have become parties to.
This humble author is beginning to strongly suspect that liberalism is a mental disorder and more proof continues to pile up by the minute.
