It took a few weeks but infuriated Democrats are on the brink of mounting an effort to insert Hillary Clinton into the White House after all. Having used the media to smear President-elect Donald Trump and his nascent administration as Neo-Nazi racist usurpers and with an aggrieved snowflake army ready to rumble, it’s looking like the Clinton criminal empire may demand an “audit” of the results in at least three states won by Trump.

In a bombshell story published by the virulently anti-Trump New York Magazine it is alleged that activist “scientists” have found what they claim to be “persuasive evidence” that results in three critical Rust Belt states (Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania) could have been tampered with by an outsider source. Get ready for a renewed barrage of Putin did it stories as Democrats try to make a compelling case to convince the public that Trump didn’t win the election after all.

Breitbart News reports on the not so shocking news that Democrats are now going to resort to lies and trickery to overturn the will of the people in the states in which Hillary took the white working class vote for granted and was bushwhacked.

According to Breitbart “Clinton Campaign Looking into Challenging Outcome of Election to Undermine the Vote”:

During the weeks before the final day of the campaign, both the Clinton camp and the media attacked Donald Trump for refusing to say he would automatically accept the outcome of the vote on Election Day. But now Clinton’s campaign chief is taking meetings with groups urging him to do just that by considering a challenge to the final vote in several of the key states that gave Trump the White House.

Reports from several sources revealed on November 22 that Clinton campaign chief John Podesta was taking meetings with a group claiming it had discovered “irregularities” in several counties of some of the states that Trump won.

Naturally, many liberals on Twitter are all excited over the idea of a challenge to the election results. Some of the replies to Gabriel Sherman’s Tweet on the matter are revealing.

But these are exactly the attitudes and actions for which liberals excoriated Donald Trump when he merely hinted at trying — actions he never directly said he would take.

During the final presidential debate in October, Fox News moderator Chris Wallace asked Trump if he’d accept the results of the election no matter what they were. But Trump demurred, causing a chorus of Democrats and members of the Old Media Complex to condemn the GOP nominee.

After the debate, the media erupted in attacks calling Trump a “destroyer” of our democracy. The Clinton campaign even insisted that filing any challenges to the election was somehow contrary to American political tradition.

Podesta is the slimy bastard who was humiliated after he bumbled his way into a phishing attack and as a result had over 50 thousand of his personal emails detailing all manner of horse-trading, skullduggery and media manipulation released by Wikileaks in the month before the election. A longtime Democrat ghoul, it’s not exactly a revelation that the creepy Podesta would be behind a plot that could throw the country into chaos and anarchy.

The New York Magazine story was written by Gabriel Sherman – whose book on former Fox News boss Roger Ailes The Loudest Voice in the Room shows that he has a clear liberal bias – is being bandied about the leftist blogosphere where it is being hailed as a validation of the election truthers and their conspiracy theories.

There is already a concerted effort underway by Team Clinton operatives to bully and cajole the actual electors into shunning Trump in a dastardly scheme that looks very much what the Never Trumpers tried to pull on Trump at the GOP convention this summer.

Downtrend’s own Brian Anderson was quick to point out a jewel buried deeply within the New York Magazine story:

While it’s important to note the group has not found proof of hacking or manipulation, they are arguing to the campaign that the suspicious pattern merits an independent review…

That’s the key here and a glaring admission that Sherman’s story is only intended to serve as the the tip of the spear to get other pro-Hillary establishment media outlets to pick up on it and use the echo chamber effect to propagandize the public that there was mischief afoot in order to justify a recount that would include what New York Magazine refers to as a “forensic audit” of voting machines. Just guess who reportedly has a stake in the company that owns the voting machines?

Trump shocked the country on Tuesday when he magnanimously reversed course on pursuing investigations into Hillary’s emails and Clinton Foundation criminality but if she goes through with a challenge of the election results he should immediately reverse course and throw the book at the rotten bitch and all of her cronies.
