It could just be more fake news but the Washington Post is reporting that the FBI has reversed course and is now in agreement with the CIA that the Russians stole the election from Hillary. If the story is true then it will be yet another instance of FBI Director James Comey intervening to provide a helping hand to Hillary. The man is such a seasoned flip-flopper that he should be running the griddle at a local IHOP instead of the top federal law enforcement agency.

According to the WAPO “FBI in agreement with CIA that Russia aimed to help Trump win White House”:

FBI Director James B. Comey and Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Jr. are in agreement with a CIA assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election in part to help Donald Trump win the White House, officials disclosed Friday, as President Obama issued a public warning to Moscow that it could face retaliation.

New revelations about Comey’s position could put to rest suggestions by some lawmakers that the CIA and the FBI weren’t on the same page on Russian President Vladi­mir Putin’s intentions.

The positions of Comey and Clapper were revealed in a message that CIA Director John Brennan sent to the agency’s workforce Friday.

“Earlier this week, I met separately with FBI [Director] James Comey and DNI Jim Clapper, and there is strong consensus among us on the scope, nature, and intent of Russian interference in our presidential election,” Brennan said, according to U.S. officials who have seen the message.

The CIA and the FBI declined to comment on Brennan’s message or on the classified intelligence assessment that CIA officials shared with members of the Senate Intelligence Committee earlier this month, setting off a political firestorm.

Considering the source of the story it could be total bullshit. The WAPO has fully distinguished itself as the nation’s preeminent fake news factory with a series of ridiculous stories that have been feeding the new red scare and has come under fire for it’s sloppy and agenda driven yellow journalism. The fact that the “U.S. officials” who reportedly saw Brennan’s message are anonymous tends to lend credence to that theory.

The revelations eliminate an inconvenient inconsistency as the frantic efforts to poison enough Republican electors to reject Donald Trump on Monday enter the final weekend and all resources will be funneled into tainting the truth that he won the election fair and square.

But of course the “evidence” that the Obama regime is using to make it’s case through the corrupt mainstream media will remain secret and hidden away from the prying eyes of the American people.
