If the Electoral College does it’s job today then barring any nasty surprises (according to Michael Moore) Donald Trump will become the president of the United States. That result will further antagonize the embittered Democrats, John McCain and Lindsey Graham who will be left with no recourse but to escalate their conspiracy theories that the Russians stole the election from Queen Hillary.
As for cryin’ Clinton herself there will be no admission that she lost the election fair and square. It was a catastrophic strategic blunder that she thumbed her nose at white working class Rust Belt voters and she paid dearly for that mistake. But with the Jill Stein recount scam having failed and the prospect of an elector coup looking bleak, Mrs. Clinton isn’t giving up the ghost.
It was all Putin’s fault.
According to the New York Times “Clinton Says ‘Personal Beef’ by Putin Led to Hacking Attacks”
Hillary Clinton said on Thursday that the hacking attacks carried out by Russia against her campaign and the Democratic National Committee were intended “to undermine our democracy” and were ordered by Vladimir V. Putin “because he has a personal beef against me.”
Speaking to a group of donors in Manhattan, Mrs. Clinton said that Mr. Putin, the Russian president, had never forgiven her for the accusation she made in 2011, when she was secretary of state, that parliamentary elections his country held that year were rigged.
“Putin publicly blamed me for the outpouring of outrage by his own people, and that is the direct line between what he said back then and what he did in this election,” Mrs. Clinton said.
Hey, it’s easier to conjure up foreign bogeymen when confronting pissed off donors who pumped upwards of $1 billion into her campaign than to admit that she just fucked up. The Democrats will need funding again in 2020 so there is zero incentive in telling the truth.
Blaming Putin has become the equivalent of the dog ate my homework for still reeling Dems but leave it to the narcissistic Hillary to once again make it all about herself.
