Speaker of the House and pickled liver lush John Boehner is spending his taxpayer funded, extended Labor Day vacation doing what he does best – raising money and talking shit. Boehner is a walking, slurring example of why there should be a constitutional amendment for term limits because Congress just shouldn’t be a lifetime gig for anyone – especially him. The slimy bastard has never had a real job in his life and has been kept in power by voters in Ohio’s 8th Congressional District since 1991. The bad news is there is no reason to believe that they won’t screw the rest of America again by reelecting him come next November. It is no secret that Boehner has been feuding with conservative and Tea Party elements in the House and has managed to fight off two challenges to his lofty perch this year alone. Now he is blasting Republican Senator and presidential candidate Ted Cruz who is pushing for a partial government shutdown this fall that Boehner wants no part of.

According to a report by conservative website The Daily Caller entitled “John Boehner Calls Ted Cruz A ‘Jackass’ At Fundraiser” ,the weeping orange alcohol sponge may have had a few too many and got caught shooting off his mouth in front of Republican donors:

Speaker of the House John Boehner stunned audience members Wednesday evening at a Colorado fundraiser by referring to Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz as a “jackass,” two people in attendance tell The Daily Caller.

At a Steamboat Springs event for GOP Rep. Scott Tipton, the Ohio Republican quipped that he likes how Cruz’s presidential campaign keeps “that jackass” out of Washington, and from telling Boehner how to do his job.

That remark rubbed some attendees the wrong way.

“I don’t think it’s terribly speaker-like, and I think it kind of goes against everything that Reagan ever said about disparaging Republicans,” said Ed MacArthur, the president of Native Excavating, who attended the fundraiser.

“It’s becoming very disturbing to me that we can’t have good, polite conversation,” MacArthur said. “It all has to be at the throat.”

But MacArthur added: “I do believe he’s got the right to say it.”

Another Steamboat Springs resident confirmed Boehner’s remark: “I about fell on the floor.”

“To build coalitions to work together in Washington, D.C., you don’t start it out by calling your colleague a ‘jackass,’” she said.

The fundraiser took place at a tavern-styled venue called the Ghost Ranch. About 100 or more people were there. Boehner and Tipton addressed the crowd while standing in front of a stage.

Boehner has a long history of mouthing off and is as permanent a fixture in Washington D.C. as the Lincoln Memorial but his potshot at Cruz should raise some eyebrows. Senator Cruz isn’t even a member of the House of Boehner although he has caused plenty of trouble for crying John’s Senate counterpart and good buddy, turtle-faced backstabber Mitch “Kentucky Kickback” McConnell . Both “leaders” have enraged all of those conservative voters who busted their asses last November to deliver a mandate to hold Emperor Obama accountable. However, once safely reelected, the dynamic duo quickly sold out and cut deals with Barry who has always been a partner of the two top RINOs in Congress when it comes to giving the shaft to Americans.

Cruz has yet to respond and probably won’t because it is beneath his dignity to mix it up with a low class drunkard like Boehner who is an embarrassment as well as a festering wart on the ass of what remains of our once vibrant democracy.
