A group of Senate Democrats are making a pathetic last ditch appeal to outgoing Emperor Barack Obama for the declassification of files on the alleged Russian plot to elect Donald Trump as president. By doing so the Dems are demonstrating that they are going to continue to blame everything on Putin and his 60 million plus Kremlin sleeper agents (aka Trump voters) instead of their own corrupt, crappy candidate.

According to Politico “Senate Intel Dems press Obama to declassify more of Russian hacking probe”:

Seven Democrats on the Senate Intelligence Committee are calling on the Obama administration to declassify more information about Russia’s alleged interference in the U.S. election.

“We believe there is additional information concerning the Russian Government and the U.S. election that should be declassified and released to the public,” said the members, led by Sen. Ron Wyden, in a brief letter sent Tuesday to President Barack Obama. “We are conveying specifics through classified channels.”

In October, the administration accused Moscow of deploying its hackers to target U.S. political organizations and political operatives’ email accounts in an attempt to meddle in the presidential election.

No Republicans are on board with what is plainly another attempt by sore loser Dems to overturn the results of the election or otherwise undermine the incoming president’s agenda.

If this wasn’t so serious it would be laughable. The Democrats and their media allies have hammered their Russian meddling scam to the point where they are endangering the First Amendment itself by creating an environment in which the alternative media itself is in peril.

The Washington Post is promoting a blacklist of over 200 websites whose cardinal sin was criticizing Hillary or backing Trump and as a result have been smeared as Russian propaganda fronts. If that wasn’t bad enough, Congress is on the brink of very quietly creating a committee that would be given sweeping powers to target “Russian” influence in the U.S. and this will be used to crush political dissent.

Despite no coverage in the corrupt mainstream media what is awash in real fake news the traitors in Congress are moving to cram this abomination through before they go home for the holidays.

In a terrifying story from The Guardian entitled “US Legislation Proposes New Committee to Counteract Russian ‘Covert Influence” it is reported:

A provision in intelligence legislation that is going through Congress would create a new high-level body aimed at thwarting covert Russian political interference around the world, potentially placing it at odds with the incoming Donald Trump administration.

The measure, tucked into the fiscal 2017 House and Senate bills authorizing US intelligence operations, would create a powerful new committee across the security services to oppose Russian destabilization measures and propaganda domestically and worldwide.

Its mission — defined broadly and without geographic limitation — is to “counter active measures by the Russian Federation to exert covert influence over peoples and governments”, according to the texts of both the House and the Senate bills, both of which have won the approval of their intelligence committees.

AND

Specifically, the high-level committee would be tasked with “exposing falsehoods, agents of influence, corruption, human rights abuses, terrorism and assassinations carried out by the security services or political elites of the Russian Federation or their proxies”.

Yet its work would not be necessarily limited to exposing such activity. It can be broadened to include “such other duties as the president may designate”, a vague and potentially expansive mandate.

Capitol Hill sources said the House version could receive a floor vote as soon as Wednesday, with the Senate version likely to follow in a matter of weeks, before the current legislative session expires. Intelligence authorization bills rarely fail to pass when brought up for votes.

Pushing legislation like this is tantamount to treason and you can probably bet money that some if not all of the Democratic senators appealing to Obama are in favor of establishing this Orwellian Ministry of Truth.

At the end of the day it’s not an exaggeration to say that those members of Congress who are behind this blatant effort to violate the Constitutional rights of American reporters are nothing less than traitors to the republic who are in violation of their sworn oaths. However it’s hard to live up to their vow to “defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic” when the enemy is the one looking back at them in the mirror.

Once Trump takes office it is hopeful that he will turn his attention to draining the Congressional swamp and that his alphabet soup agencies will begin probing some of these attempts by Democrats to subvert the election results. Nothing would be more cleansing to the American spirit after eight years of Obama induced hell than to see a pack of these rotten bastards hauled before a special prosecutor and held accountable for their innumerable crimes against the republic.

In the meantime, may they all get nice little hankies with the old Soviet flag on them for Christmas to dab away those tears.
